Privacy Policy

Seattle Tattoo is a public directory. We collect as little personal information as we can, and we never sell it.

What we collect

Forms. When you use the contact or listing forms we receive the name, email address and message you submit, and forward them to our editors so we can reply and update listings.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site secure and running. Logs are kept for a limited period.

Analytics. We don’t use Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics service, and we set no analytics cookies.

What we don't do

We don’t sell or rent personal information, we don’t run third-party advertising trackers, and we don’t collect consumer health data. Studio listings contain business information only — never personal email addresses or home addresses.

Artist profiles

Artist profiles show professional information that studios publish on their own websites: the artist’s name, role, studio, styles, professional links and the studio’s photo. We never publish personal phone numbers, email or home addresses, age, family, health, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or pronouns. Artists can correct or remove their profile at any time; see how artist profiles work.

Maps

Interactive maps load only when you press “Show interactive map”. Map tiles are then requested from OpenFreeMap, which receives your IP address like any web server.

Your choices

Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete anything you sent us. Studio owners can ask us to correct or remove business details at any time through add or fix a listing. Artists can ask us to correct or remove their profile or photo through the artist join or claim page or the contact page, and we always honor removal requests.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We’ll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above.
