## FAQ

**Where is NieU Studio located?**
NieU Studio is at 1113 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98101, in Seattle's Downtown neighborhood (King County).

**How do I book a tattoo at NieU Studio?**
Reach NieU Studio through online booking (nieustudio.com/appt), the website (nieustudio.com), or Instagram (@nieustudio). Most Washington studios ask for a deposit to hold an appointment, and custom pieces usually need a consultation first.

**Is NieU Studio licensed?**
Washington requires every tattoo shop and tattoo artist to hold a Department of Licensing license (RCW 18.300). You can confirm any shop or artist with the DOL license lookup; see our Washington tattoo laws guide for how. City of Seattle, Department of Finance and Administrative Services open data lists NieU Studio as a registered City of Seattle business since 2021 (data as of October 17, 2026). That is a city business registration, not a Department of Licensing tattoo license.

**What other tattoo shops are near NieU Studio?**
Nearby studios include Madame Lazonga's (0.3 mi), Fenix Tattoo (0.3 mi), and Ink DaVinci Tattoo Shop (0.4 mi).

**Does NieU Studio require a deposit?**
Yes. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required for all appointments and is applied toward the final tattoo session.

**When will I see my tattoo design?**
The design is shown on the day of the appointment, before tattooing begins. Adjustments can be discussed then.

**How far in advance must I give notice to reschedule?**
At least 72 hours before the appointment. Rescheduling with less notice results in loss of the deposit.
